Rio Climbing Guides is a guiding service specialized in
rock climbing in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It represents
the result of a group of climbers who decided to get organized
a few years ago in order to promote the local professional
climbing guides standards. Our leader, Gustavo
Sampaio has been coordinating a certification programs
for professional rock climbing guides and instructors
through the state guides association- AGUIPERJ
at courses, seminars and meetings, therefore implementing
the first Climbing Guides Association of Brazil.
Gustavo picked some of his climbing partners and friends,
who've been enroled in this program, most notably the
ones with certification in the English language, and put
them together to provide a reliable climbing guide service
and instruction for kids, teens and adults on the amazing
rocky landscape of the wonderfull city.
This site may also be used by guides who'd like to know
more about Rio de Janeiro,s Climbing spots. Useful infromation
such as classic routes are available on the Climbing Options
button, or can be requested from any of the listed guides
at guides@rioclimbingguides.com.
