We value the experience of climbing with the companion of highly skilled and professional guides who will do their best to provide a full experience to the clients. In order to achieve this we promote the elevation of the professional climbing guiding and instructing to higher levels by supporting the Climbing Guides Association of Rio de Janeiro, AGUIPERJ, which sets standards, provides support and education for rock climbing guides and instructors.

Gustavo Sampaio

Our director has been guiding since 1992 having climbed in Yosemite (El Cap), Wind Rivers, Australia, and set many big-walls in Rio de Janeiro and on rock faces in the southeast of Brasil.

Gustavo is also specialized in guiding children from 6 to 10 years of age, is fluent in English, Spanish and some French. Currently coordinates the certification program for guides and instructors by presiding the Aguiperj-State Rock Climbing Guides Association and graduates in child Education.

Daniel Fernandes

Guiding since 1995, Daniel has set and repeated some of the most remote big-wall routes of the state, has a Physical Education degree and develops volunteer work with children in public schools in Rio and majors in Medicine.

Felipe Edney

At only 25 years of age Felipe has an impressive into the professional climbing world having climbed extensively the rocks of Rio, from boulders to the most daring big-wall routes Felipe is a great companion for any activity. Be it guiding, high-ropes services or training he is very responsible and caring towards one's experience. He is also a PE graduation teacher.

Flavio Carneiro

Flavio is na experienced lead climber who's been dedicated to the professional climbing cause since 1996 when found Rio's first rock climbing School: The Limite Vertical Climbing Center. Flavio has been climbing since 1989 and has a special aproach for teaching climbing methods and its issues.

Ralf Cortes

One of Brasil's most complete rock climber Ralf has done some of the country's most dificult sport climbs redpointing 5.14 routes as well as done remote big-wall first ascents. Has over 20 years experience on the vertical game having climbed in Mexico, Chile, Spain, England and US. Ralf has great lead climber's atitude and is an excelent compainion for guided climbs.

Sergio Poyares

Been climbing for over 25 years, Sergio is has a degree in Physical Eduaction and is a live legend in the brazilian rockclimbing sceene having made many first ascents along with some of Brasil's best wall climbers. Being one of them, has climbed in Zion in US where he lived for a while. He now lives in Salinas, upstate of Rio, home of the longest and more traditional routes in the country. Is definately a good call for guiding there.
