Rio Climbing Guides love to do trekking on the mountainious regions that surounds Rio and so we added some of the available, and, of course, most classic trekks as some of our products.

Note that due to the rain season we only offer this type of service from april to october, so if you wish to do Trekking with us plan ahead your trip considering this period.

We have described below two of the most bautifull trekks available wich are the ones we are used to taking clients the most. They are:

The most beatifull trekk in Rio is the best choice for those who seek wild adventure .
It´s 42 kilometers of up and downhill hike in the Serra dos Órgãos mountain Range located 120 kilometers from downtown Rio. It usualy takes parties two full days to complete althouhg some athletes, including our gudies, can do it in less than 10 hours traveling light.

If doing it on a weekend , for example , the group will leave staurday at 5:30 am by car or van to the town of Petropolis, hit the trail head around 9 am and then hike for aproximately 5-7 hours until the camping spot. The guide(s) will set camp and prepare warm food. Sunday morning the guide(s) will prepare brekfest and the group will leave camp around 9 am and walk for aproximately 6-8 hours until the end of the trail at the National Park´s parking lot in Teresópolis. During this part of the trekk the group will hike up the Pedra do Sino, the highest on the region with its 2263 meters above sea level wich, on a clear day, guarantees a nice panoramic view of the surounding mountains being only 20 minutes away from the main trail.
