Rio Climbing Guides guides love to do trekking on the mountainious regions that surounds Rio and so we added some of the available, and, of course, most classic trekks as some of our products.

Note that due to the rain season we only offer this type of service from april to october, so if you wish to do Trekking with us plan ahead your trip considering this period.

The region is the home of the highest peaks of Rio reaching 2787 meters of altitude on the Pico da Agulhas Negras (Peak of the Black Needles) and has one of the most beatifull and intriguing scenarys in the country being the only place in the southeast where it may snow. Although a rare event it allows us to say that it snows in Rio! And you might be a lucky person if you get to see this fenomenon there on this National Park wich is located 3 hours northwest of downtown Rio.

The Itatiaia National Park has wicked day trails and treks and you can either camp or stay in the cosy chalets available there.
